Peter Bauert –A Genius In The Information Technology Industry

Peter Bauert’s history marks a relevant spot in the Information Technology Industry. His educational background is a testimony of his dedication and motivation. He studied at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Then, he continued his studies at University of Central Florida where he again finished another degree in Master of Science in Computer Engineering. His first job experience is in Siemens Stromberg Carlson in which he serves as Development Manager. He pursues his learning upon enrolling on a MBA class at Dartmouth College. He gained the highest honor on his class with a great pride.

Peter Bauert is really an exceptional person for he shares his knowledge among others when he started working at Bain & Co. as a consultant. Afterwards, his passion and potential for computer technology have been tapped when he landed a job at Cybergold. As a VP for Corporate Development, he was responsible for the enhancement of the corporation. Therefore, he applied the strategies that he learned for years of studies. He then proposes the acquisition of iTarget, which helps boost the profit of the company up to 60%. Sales Driver is the next company that benefits from the talent of Bauert. He tripled the revenue of this company for just several years of working with them.

 

Later, Peter Bauert becomes the EVP for Strategy and Operation for the Fast and Search Transfer. The company was so grateful for him because from $35M, his strategies had led their gain to $135M. He left FAST and is now currently working at Parallels. He is the CFO and COO of the company which is responsible for the administrative and operational function of the business. He supervises the union and acquisition of the company that immensely heighten the profitability of the Parallels. With his leadership, they are able to acquire some search engine like Next Page and Alta Vista. They are also associated now with Microsoft. They support Microsoft’s automation service for Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft BPO. What is more exciting for the Parallel is the acquisition of Convera Corporation, which led to government clients such as FDA, FBI and State Department.
